Home visits are available to current registered patients of the practice who are acutely unwell or palliative and are at the discretion of the Doctor. Most Home visits occur during surgery hours or at the completion of the day. If you need to organise a home visit please speak to our receptionist before 10 00 am for same day service .
We all lead busy lives and we understand that sometimes it is difficult to remember when regular appointments are due.
At Good Health we utilise both computerised, telephone and letter reminder systems for many important appointments. These may include health checks, immunisations, women’s health, long appointments and care plans.
Over time we are increasing our use of electronic media for patients who request it. For those of you who are not computer or mobile phone literate, the good news we will send you a letter instead.
Good Health is committed to expanding and developing the SMS reminders system to appropriately and effectively help you to manage your care, prevent disease and reduce the risk of hospital admission or exacerbation’s of known chronic illness.
Two days prior to your appointment you will be receive an SMS reminder of your appointment time. The reminder will ask for confirmation so unwanted appointments can be made available for other patients.
Patients who wish to receive SMS reminders but have not updated their mobile phone numbers or wish to opt out of this service can advise reception by phone or email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Unwanted SMS Reminders
As we expand our use of SMS Reminders there are maybe circumstances where patients receive reminders not relevant to them for some reason not known to us. I f this happens to you and you do not wish to receive a particular reminder please email the surgery to: email@example.com or give us a call on 0249394777.
If by chance you received an irrelevant reminder please advise us by email, saying that you no longer want to receive it and the reason.
If you believe you may need an interpreter or if you are hearing impaired. Please speak to our friendly reception staff so we can organise an interpreter for you.
We are always keen to receive any feedback you may have in regards to our service or suggestions for improvement. Patient feedback forms are available for you to complete in the surgery. You can speak with one of our staff, request to speak to our Practice Manager or your Doctor. Feedback can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or sent via post to 6 Molly Morgan Drive Greenhills.
