Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health

At Good Health Greenhills the independent practitioners understand how a person’s culture may inform their values, behaviours , beliefs and basic assumptions. We recognise that we are all shaped by our cultural background , which influences how we interpret the world around us , perceive ourselves and relate to other people. (1)

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which Good Health Greenhills is situated, the Wonnarua people. We recognise the strength, resilience and capacity of Aboriginal people in this land and we pay respect to Elders, past, present and emerging.

Good Health Greenhills is committed to providing culturally appropriate services to identified Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander patients to address health issues such as chronic disease, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, diet and nutritional health and mental health.
