Administrative Services
Reminders
We all lead busy lives and we understand that sometimes it is difficult to remember when regular appointments are due.
At Good Health we utilise both computerised, telephone and letter reminder systems for many important appointments. These may include health checks, immunisations, women’s health, long appointments and care plans.
Over time we are increasing our use of electronic media for patients who request it. For those of you who are not computer or mobile phone literate, we can send you a letter instead.
SMS Reminders
Good Health is committed to expanding and developing the SMS reminders system to appropriately and effectively help you to manage your care, prevent disease and reduce the risk of hospital admission or exacerbation’s of known chronic illness.
Two days prior to your appointment you will be receive an SMS reminder of your appointment time. The reminder will ask for confirmation so unwanted appointments can be made available for other patients.
Patients who wish to receive SMS reminders but have not updated their mobile phone numbers or wish to opt out of this service can advise reception by phone or email to admin@goodhealth.net.au
Unwanted SMS Reminders
As we expand our use of SMS reminders there may be circumstances where patients are sent reminders that they may not wish to receive. If this happens to you and you do not wish to receive a particular reminder please email the surgery at: admin@goodhealth.net.au or give us a call on 0249394777.
Interpreter service
If you believe you may need an interpreter or if you are hearing impaired. Please speak to our friendly reception staff so we can organise an interpreter for you.
